18 Jun 2023 - Party Under the Stars

Our recent stargazing workshop was nothing short of a celestial soirée (here is a French word for my French friend Camille), a party under the panoramic spectacle of the night sky.

One participant arrived on short notice, bringing with him a small telescope of his own. This seemingly modest instrument harboured a world of potential. To my astonishment, his telescope offers mesmerizing views of Starlink's satellite bus, travelling among the stars; and the intricate pattern of globular clusters, each star contributing to the collective shimmer. Even galaxies, those distant islands of stars, revealed themselves to our eager gazes.

Another group of guests, full of creativity and enthusiasm, took it upon themselves to immortalize the ethereal beauty of the night. They ‘danced’ under the Milky Way, capturing its grandeur in awe-inspiring snapshots.

Each of us enjoyed the starry night in our unique way, making this not just a stargazing workshop, but a true party under the stars.
