The Carina Nebula..

This photo was taken from my balcony in a heavily light-polluted area(Bortle 7-8) using a DSLR and a small telescope. It was my first time trying narrowband imaging and I was very surprised with the result!

I even made a short video to share the photographing and processing process:

Equipment and settings:

Mount: Skywatcher star adventurer pro 2i

Camera: Astro Modified Canon 2000D

Telescope: Redcat51 250mm f4.9

Filter: Optolong Optolong O III, Optolong H Alpha

Settings: 180s at iso 1600

Integration: 47 Lights O III Light, 55 H Alpha Light, 30 Flats, 60 Bias Frames

Total integration time: 5hr6m
